John Paul Jones is most famous for playing his 1962 Fender Jazz Bass
for Led Zeppelin, using it on most of the band's iconic tracks until
1975. He also famously played an 8-string bass and, later in Led
Zeppelin, used an Alembic Series II. Jones's signature bass sound was
influenced by Motown and often used an Acoustic 360 amplifier and 361 cabinet.
